I have stayed here multiple times. However, today I requested my room to be cleaned. It never was. I tried to tidy things up (put all the towels in a pile), pick up trash, etc. No one ever came. I called to request towels. No one ever came. When I went to the front desk, I was told that they were brought but they were not. I have 5 people here and they only had 2 towels. I was told to come back in the morning. So, I asked the receptionist how we were supposed to bathe tonight?! She said she would call and she did about an hour later. And no one offered anything for my inconvenience, other than unpleasant vibes... It could have been some snacks from the lobby area... something would have been nice. I’m staying here tonight, of course, but this will be my last stay.
My husband and I was at the Holiday Inn Express in Lafayette on Ambassador Caffery Parkway this past weekend and we were very disappointed with the appearance outside, cleanliness inside, quality of room maintenance, housekeeping of room, noise of the guests, and facilities including the restrooms by your fitness center were very dirty. Also I don’t think the Manager should park their car under the canopy all day long, it looks bad and is in the way of guests as they are unloading to stay.nI always liked the IHG chain of Hotels (I have been a member for at least 15 to 20 years) and have never been this disappointed before with any other of your properties to this extent. We know that properties age and need upgrade, but this one is approximately only 10 yrs old.nWe have stayed there 4 times in the past 6 months and it continues to get worse. We recommended this facility to 3 other couples to stay there with us, because we were all attending an funeral together. They said they were very disappointed and said they wouldn’t stay there again.nI emailed the hotel and asked for a survey and they said I would have to contact guest services to get one.nPlease believe me that someone should look into this before it gets any worse.nI would like to fill out as survey still so the Manager could get this taken care of.
We checked in yesterday and they were very welcoming! This morning when we were checking out she rudely kept saying check out is still at 11 while people are trying to take ice off their windows and cars. We couldn’t even get our trunk open now mind you check in is at 3 o’clock so to rush people considering the weather circumstances is ridiculous. Emily the manager on duty then called the cops and 3 were sent over because she said we were 12 people, 8 of them were children so you exaggerated to the cops for children. And she said because we exceeded the limit we are no longer welcomed at the hotel wow. She doesn’t have to worry after her poor service, her condescending attitude, and calling the cops for kids who were sitting quietly in the lobby, we would never have come here anyway!
It was nice until I had a family emergency and the manger wasn’t decent enough to refund me my money or even offer me another room another day. After being told I would get my money back. Never going back there again!
It waz ok. My Boss got all his tools stolen from this place & come to find out there waz only one camera in the whole building that cover the desk area. No Camera outside nowhere. We wouldn't be going there anymore.
