Not a 3 star hotel as the listing stated. Restaurant has been closed for a very long time. Unique hotel with some nice views, but obviously older and in need of renovation. Walls are poorly insulated for sound and the room doors are thin metal. Highway noise is constant in the room. Elevator is old and clunky. Bed is comfortable. Staff was nice.
The hotel is nice. We got in after midnight and staff was waiting. The building is clean. Some of the rooms smell like smoke but a simple request will give you another room. There was no noise although it is spring break. Due to covid-19, there is no breakfast offered.nThe cab ride from the airport will run about 45 for two people. There are several restaurant in walking distance (no more than one mile away)
As a travel agent, I would never recommend this hotel to any clients. We were on the 9th floor for 2 nights and didn’t get any sleep. It was so loud with the old windows and constant freeway traffic. The room hadn’t been cleaned well before our stay - we found things from previous guests. If my husband or I would have been any larger, we wouldn’t have been able to get in the bathroom and close the door. There was no stopper to our sink and it was badly clogged, as was our tub. The elevator was a nerve wracking experience each time we got in it. The positives were the decent bed and soft towels. Please think twice before staying here.
Wonderful staff.
Beds are comfy, reasonably clean. Great location. I would stay here again.
