I stay here often. The pool is huge and always a good temperature. The bar and restaurant are great. The rooms are clean and nice for an older motel.
This is an old fashioned hotel, but does the trick! It is in a safe area, the rooms are big, has a nice free breakfast, but what I appreciated most was Charles--a retired VET, he checked us in and I've never seen the kind of thoughtful, thorough service and respect that he exhibited. He was the only one on duty around 11:30, and he took the time to escort a sweet lady to her room, and was so professional and kind to her and me. My husband also dropped a $300 pair of sunglasses (in it's case), in the parking lot, and a customer returned them to the front desk where we retrieved them the next day---honesty all the way around! Thank you, Charles and all the wonderful people we met in Valdosta during our stay!
Yikes. Sewage smell was terrible. Said it was the restaurant’s issue but seeing as it is all attached...yeah. Hallway smelled like weed. Pretty rundown. Won’t be back.
Staff and Service get a solid 4 out of 5, cleanliness gets a solid 5 out of 5, room decor gets a 3 out of 5 and maintenance of the room and property get a solid 4.5 out of 5.nGreat value for sure.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Austin's restaurant was fantastic
