Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill

Saw the high rating on google map and decided to stay, but the it turned out be different from our imagination. Overall this is an old hotel so you can see signs of wearing and aging on furnitures here and there from the lobby, guest room to the exercise center. The later is the only amenity open during pandemic and most equipments are kind of vintage. In a room facing outside, we can hear wind blowing on the windows which could be a bit loud on in while. We stay on Sunday and the capital hill is really empty as oppose to other area like downtown or Georgetown. Overall there’s a gap between our expectation and reality.

Maggie P was very friendly, professional, and welcoming. She is a credit to the great reputation of the Hilton.
