Walgreens

Very poor service. The pharmacy staff lacks competence, accountability and compassion. They will not try to solve a problem and will not correct their mistakes. My children have asthma and I have been unable to retrieve their medication after 6 failed attempts. I was told there weren’t any refills left and that I had to call my Doctor. As a Nurse who communicates with pharmacies often, I knew that she could have done more than just dismiss me. I called my provider whom completed a conference call and confirmed refills. We were told by the pharmacy that we could pick up at 3:00pm the same day. When I went to pick up the RX, I was told the order was never submitted. I went back the next day to only be told the same thing. This cycle was repeated until finally they were ready however, my card was being declined for an $8.00 charge. I’m looking at my account and providing new cards and asking for them to manually type it in because something is wrong as I’m looking at my account and can clearly see the funds were available. Once I pull off, I receive a notification from my bank asking to confirm a $372.00 charge from Walgreens. I go inside to find out what is going on and was told that my RX was submitted incorrectly and after wasting another 10 minutes, I was told that my insurance company was down and to come back another time. Fast forward to the present moment, I receive a call informing me of my available RXs’. When I go to retrieve them, I was told that the pharmacy couldn’t find them and to come back in 15 minutes. I went back after a couple of hours and was told that my total was over $260.00 and that it’s my insurance that I have to speak with. I spoke with my insurance and was told once more that there was no detected issue. When I call the pharmacy to confirm before I make another blank trip, Jim picks up, . He resubmitted the RX and gave me the new total and “told me that everything was there and ready for pick up.” Jim hung up without warning and I had another question. It’s ridiculous that the proper customer is nonexistent. The lines are always long and we shouldn’t leave empty handed and without answers every time. Definitely use a different pharmacy. This rather long post was the shorter version of the story and I am completely disappointed.

Called and waited to speak to a pharmacist 3/1/20 at 4:10. Someone had the audacity to pick up the phone and immediately hang up on me. Look, I know you're busy, I was happy to wait, but that was so rude, now in order to address an issue that requires human interaction I have to get back into the queue... So inconsiderate.

The store is great! The pharmacy could be better, the waiting time at window pick up was over 50 minutes and the cars kept on linning up. There was 2 young pharmacist manning the front, the window and the back, very nice and going as fast as possible. Most times in the evening seems to be a problem with waiting time, something needs to be done.

Pharmacy let phone ring and ring and ring and ring... and when it sounded like someone was picking it up, nope, they hung up on me.
