To begin with, what a location!! It is in the heart of Nantucket's charming downtown. We stayed on their first floor and the room was lovely, comfortable and spotless. The bathroom was large and had a lovely new shower and plenty of light. Our king bed was spacious, but cozy with the four posters and crisp white lines enveloping us. The manager, Francesca, was present and pleasant throughout answering all our questions about the town's history, securing bikes at a moments notice and making sure the breakfast food was replenished, fresh and delicious. I cannot say enough about The Pineapple Inn. Nantucket is a magical island and The Pineapple Inn is a magical retreat!
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was no one there to let us in our room so we just picked one with the cleaning lady. A few hours into our stay they fumigated the place with disinfectant leaving our clothes, the bed and our towels soaking wet. The handle on the shower fell off when trying to turn on the water. We paid way too much money to stay here. Highly recommend going anywhere else on the island.
I cannot speak to my stay since my husband and I had to cancel our reservation due to COVID, but I’ve been trying for 6 weeks to get reimbursed for our cancelled reservation with no success. If anyone else runs into this issue, I’d recommend disputing the charge with your bank.
Amazing service, location and staff! Would definitely come back next time I am in Nantucket.
