Affordable town location, well-appointed, quiet, and comfortable. Amazingly I discovered it was the home of my husband's family in the 1930s and 40s - the Smiths. Incredible coincidence! (No ghosts encountered!)
I have been staying here for 10+ yrs. I love the staff. They are friendly and helpful.
I realize $200/night in-season on Nantucketnis extremely reasonable. That being said, you get what you pay for. In this case you'll get peeling wallpaper, specks of black mold in the window air conditioner, ceiling cracked and pliable over my head, dirty blind. The bathroom (shared with another room) is gross. No fan, a cast iron teeny sink, and I wore flip flops in the shower. (The bathroom in the first floor is a little nicer.) The reason for two stars? Bed was comfortable.
Perfect accomadations, enjoyed my stay. It felt like I owed the property. Thanks
