Very beautiful and comfortable cottage. Felt like a home away from home. Separate cottages are surrounded by tropical gardens. Breakfast provided, jacuzzi, wifi in an office space, and garden sitting areas. Owners Garrett and Sandy were very friendly and helpful. They were able to suggest things to do all over the big island.
An entire House to yourself. A lot of advice is shared, and we had wonderful home baked cakes and fresh fruit every day. Very nice
Best place in our trip in 2014. Clean, relax and quiet cottage to enjoy the nature of the domain. The owners was very helpful and generous with us.
We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the nightly visits to the caldera, breakfast with Sandy's cake and our daily agenda from Garrett. Highly recommend staying here for a peaceful change to resort hotels.
Garret and Sandy are wonderful hosts at Volcano Country Cottages. Breakfasts are dependable and fresh. If you are staying more than a couple of days you might want to widen your variety of breakfasts, however.nnExcellent access to Volcano National Park as well as other attractions on that side of the island.nnExcellent advise from the hosts and great networking with local guides and services.
