The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort

Gorgeous rooms and pools.nExtremely clean.nLove the flower leis in the rooms.nHapuna Beach and the hotel grounds are beautiful.nnIt is so nice to have a covered parking lot to keep your car cool in the Hawaii mid-day sun.nnBeautiful coffee bar with an amazing view and great coffee.nWarm and friendly staff.nBeautiful lotus and fish ponds.nSpacious and streamline work out area.nnGorgeous Adult infinity pool and hot tub-- lovely. Kids can't go in the adult hot tub/infinity pool (a plus for adults without kids who want quiet relaxation)-- downstairs hot tub that kids would normally go in is closed for social distancing, this may be something people with kids would like to know. - though the kids have an amazing and large ground floor pool to play in.nnIn general- this hotel is the cleanest and superior in every aspect.nud83dudc4f ud83dudc4f Fantastic.

Beautiful resort! Our Ocean view room was amazing with a high table and a couch. We had breakfast every morning in the room and everyday we were lucky enough to see the whales breaching from there! Also, the hotel has a trail alongside the beach and from there you can watch beautiful sunsets.

Excited to be celebrating our honeymoon here later this week! Heard such great things about this property especially the beach and the pool so we made sure to reserve a cabana. The process was so smooth and simple. I love that they have an interactive map that shows where the cabanas are in relation to the pool which is exactly what I was looking for.

The property was stunning and we’re Marriott Elite members.The only reason I’m giving 3 stars and not 5 is the check in process was awful for my parents. We all had printed out all the documents required ahead of time and they had even been vaccinated. My Mom had written down the Google password. However, they couldn’t pull up the QR code on my Dad’s phone. The staff refused to accept the printed version. My parents were so stressed. Luckily we had returned from the beach and my husband was there and they changed the Google password and were finally able to access it. The check in staff were NO help. They refused all the printed documents they had. They refused to offer assistance. Instead they hid in the office until we resolved it. What if my husband wasn’t there to help? They need to have an IT individual on call to help in such situations or accept the printed document that had the QR code and his name on it. It was such an unpleasant experience. We get that it’s Hawaii’s rules. We were prepared. But sometimes things happen. For an expensive resort this is subpar. And be sure to make reservations at the restaurant before you get there. After a long day of traveling we had to order room service as we couldn’t get in.

Nice property, excellent location on Hapuna Beach, and an amazing staff. It’s Christmas and we have been here for a week. The place is impeccably clean, you literally could eat off the floor. Workers are constantly cleaning every surface, temperature is taken at restaurants and hand sanitizing is required prior to entering. They are doing everything possible to keep everyone safe. I don’t think Marriott brought enough people back to work but those who are are working extremely hard while maintaining great welcoming attitudes.
