We stop here often because the food is really good, the atmosphere is relaxing, and everyone is friendly. On our latest visit I had the beef vegetable soup, which was stellar, along with the steak salad. We raved over how good the steak was, and the lime dressing was a delicious complement. I recommend

Showed up without reservations and seated quickly. Friendly staff. Meals were delicious, arrived in a timely manner. Good portion sizes...not large but just the right amount. Great atmosphere with cool decorations. Love the fireplace that dominates the dining room. Plenty of parking.

Stunning location with friendly and helpful staff. Get the room with the fireplace, it’s so worth it. You can’t beat the hot tub surround by lush green jungle. Woke up every morning to a warm fireplace and the sounds of the rain. Truly magical. Warm towels, delicious coffee and a welcome treat were small added bonus. Only sad thing is the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday.

Well, isn't this a GEM?! First I will start with the quaint, beautiful and clean facility. Then, let's move on to the fantastic, kind and attentive service. It felt like being in mom's kitchen. Finally, the FOOD! Oh, the fresh made, perfectly seasoned and prepared meal my husband and I shared. We ordered the crispy fried chicken for two with homemade mac & cheese, coleslaw with a subtle kick and coconut cornbread. Every single bite was delicious, flavorful and absolutely fresh. The Mac was cheesey with a bit of garlic to it. Chicken was super crunchy, a touch of salt (just enough!) To have mouth watering flavor and the coleslaw was crunchy with the best sneaky kick!! LOVED IT ALL!nCocktails weren't too shabby either!! We will be back!! Maybe stay at the inn this time too!!

Stayed two days and would return in the future. Janet was helpful and very kind, there was a lovely sweet feline on the property which was nice. Bathroom had a beautiful open panel ceiling allowing natural light to flow through, fireplace was perfect for the rainy morning we had experienced during our second day in Volcano.nnI will note that there is limited vegan options at their restaurant, which was disappointing due to lack of local eating options and no fridge in the room to store grocery items. Crispy vegan tofu sandwich for lunch was available however no vegan bread options and the slaw on the sandwich was not vegan - did not feel that $17.00 for this meal was something I was willing to pay with many of the components missing. Would recommend expanding vegan options, as this is a dietary preference by many and is on the rise.
