Great location, great hosts who shared local stories and tips when we arrived.nnMy wife and I enjoyed one night and it was way too short. Next time we’re on the island we’re going to stay here for a few extra days.nnIt’s 10 minutes from Hawaii Volcano National Park in a very quiet location; we slept with the windows open and the only thing we heard were the tranquil sounds of nature.nnGreat little gem!

Great location for access to the Volcano park, clean and the hosts are very nice. We were told that it wouldn't be hot, that it always rains and that the frogs would prevent us from sleeping. It was very hot, it didn't rain most of the days and the frogs were a pleasant background noise for sleeping. The bed is very stiff and it was too hot to sleep well. There's no AC and not even a single fan in the room. This is Hawaii, not Vermont... Also, the house is very badly soundproofed and we could hear the upstairs people very clearly.

Nice cold area to stay at but some smell of Sulfur from Kilauea
