Huckleberry Inn

So we came here after our disastrous experience at the My. Hood Brewery, and they saved the night. Fast and friendly service. Food was tasty. Our server was chatty but not too chatty, she kept the kiddo entertained at moments when she saw us getting worn. Overall enjoyable time and a solid save. Well done. We will actually consider staying here next time we are up.nnEdit:nWe ended up staying here this time around. We got the 2 bedroom with a kitchen. The rates are reasonable and as always the service was great. I am giving the Huckleberry Inn a bit of wiggle room as it is an old building and a mom and pop shop. The room had a couple of issues but they were tiny and given the set up, not worth a down grade on stars. The beds were a bit firm in our room and some basic maintenance stuff was needed. All of that being said, we all enjoyed our time up here and will probably be going back again.

MY WIFE AND I STOPPED IN HERE FOR BREAKFAST. WE WERE ON THE 7th DAY OF AN 8 DAY VACATION. IT WAS HANDS DOWN. THE BEST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE OF OUR TRIP. OUR MEALS TASTED AMAZING. THE COFFEE WAS PERFECT. HOWEVER BEST OF ALL WAS THE SERVICE. GRADE A #1 CUSTOMER SERVICE. OUR WAITER MADE OUR EXPERIENCE UNFORGETTABLE. ALSO THE GLAZED DONUTS AND MAPLE BARS ARE MASSIVE. AS WELL AS SUPER SUPER DELICIOUS.

The food was great and and we had plenty to eat. Our server Josue was incredibly friendly and made the experience that much better.nWe definitely plan to come back!

We had room 11 which was accessible to the right of the cafe and up two small flights of stairs. The room was large enough for four of us to be very comfortable. The kitchen is small but two people can work comfortably because of the long bar. We brought lots of food and it all fit in the fridge and on the counters. Cabinets were well stocked, even had a wine key. Beds are fine if a little on the firm side. Bring extra blankets for snuggling or plan to use the heaters. Those older buildings don’t have a ton of insulation. Nice little balcony for storing the sleds or other wet stuff. The cafe was fast and provided lots of food. I ate my biscuits and gravy twice. Some in our party didn’t think the food was flavorful enough but others loved it. There is a fantastic little shop in the inn that sells blankets and sweaters and coffee to take home. I highly recommend that as well, the owner is fun to talk too. Overall this place screams rustic mountain charm and will give you an excellent place to rest after a long day.

Excellent food and good prices. We called and ordered our food and it was ready in 15 minutes for five people on a busy Saturday. We all enjoyed our food and hope to go back again very soon. Take out only right now.
