It's 3 months later, and I am still dreaming about the saltwater lap pool and breakfast on the perfectly gorgeous patio. Still thinking of the perfectly perfect, room and comfy bed. We had to come home and buy new pillows because a new standard had been set. Every detail of the house and hospitality was beautifully thought out. Kevin and Julie were lovely, and watching the thunderstorm from the cosy front porch was an added bonus.

This place is a secret Gem! Kevin and Julie are very kind, hospitable, folks! Around if you need anything but give you the privacy you need otherwise. They do stay onsite so if you prefer not to have that, this is not your place. The heated pool provides a good balance to the windy gorge. Hot tub kept faulting but Kevin kept working to try and get it fixed (needed a specific unavailable last minute part). We were still able to use it without the jets and loosen our sore muscles. Good places to eat nearby, tried to eat at the Beachwood Eatery twice because it was so good (Covid19 order takeout). Good fried pickles at the Last Stop Saloon and a must for pastries cappuccino and breakfast is Petite Provence! A couple doors down is some super good coffee shop (medium roast drinkers) Kainos! Decent second hand store nearby called St. Vincent de Paul The Dalles if you like second hand shopping. Fireplace to sit by if you wish. Lots of seating around the property to be cozy and chill. If you are coming as a group, bring some extra lawn chairs if you want everyone to have one. There were 3 of us this trip and they pulled out an extra lawn chair but otherwise there is only 2 lay down chairs by the pool. Parking for about 2-3 cars in front of the house. If you rent the apartment instead of the house, you’ll be doing a lot of walking around the front to back of the house for pool to apartment entrance but its not bad at all for affordability! If you need anything, just ask, they are so so kind and helpful! Very clean cute quant place! I will be back! Already trying to book again! We absolutely loved staying at this home. From the stunning gardens, beautiful pool, relaxing hot tub, sonos sound system throughout, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, ample bathrooms, beautiful antique furnishings, and wonderfully kind owners that walked us through every feature. All of us enjoyed ourselves and took pictures for inspiration home for our own dwellings. Great memories at a wonderful oasis!

From the moment we arrived the couple running the bed and breakfast made us feel welcomed and at home. The house has a great warm and inviting feeling. Breakfast was excellent, hazelnut crusted French toast and I slept like a baby in the super comfy king sized bed. I would give this place 6 stars if possible.

Fantastic hospitality by the hosts. Gorgeous home and super clean amenities. Will be back. Breakfast was superb. Easily beats any hotel breakfast.
