God's Love (03/04/2021)
My experience was wholesome, fun, rejuvenating and I felt free to be myself 100%. Just before you're at the retreats gate you'll see the Elephant ud83dudc18 Butte and if you're like me you'll sense the spiritual energies that are home to this place. My senses were confirmed by one of the regulars as there is said to be an energy vortex around the property. I automatically felt that I was home away from home. The owners have tremendous love in their hearts and sharing meals prepared and served by them while in the company of men from various walks of life was healing in a way I hadn't expected. My experience seemed to me to be something needed on a holistic level. I live in CA but was visiting AZ to see family. Copper Cactus ud83cudf35 is perhaps a nice/calming 45 minute drive East of the 202 loop. I spent most of my 2 days there walking the hiking trails and marveling at the complete silence and the eternal sunsets I experienced. I more than recommend you spend time there. I believe in the ownership and their faithful regulars to keep spirits high and provide an atmosphere where you can be more comfortable with yourself while connecting with other men than you might be otherwise. Thanks to my dear friend TG for the weekend at your favorite place.

I must say I was very nervous . I am deaf So it’s usually a language barrier for me in group setting. They staff made me feel at ease and welcome along with my three friends ! I loved the area and the scenery the guest were also very friendly and welcoming No one cared about my disability or judged which made me feel great . I’d definitely return possible next month for my birthday . Might even offer a few spa services. As well who know . But I will be back THANK YOU

All 5 of us loved it. 3 years in and taking off nicely. Hosts are very nice and friendly, understanding. Rich has funny jokes. Bobby is talented.nnWe will return and certainly looking forward to seeing what is in store for next time.nnWe can hope that horses will be around some day as I have never ridden a horse just a cowboy. Thanks ud83dude18 guys see you next time looking forward to returning.nnHoping to assist them.in their growth for solar and solar water heaters.nnBedrooms were nice just don't let your partner leave both windows open when the sun goes down. Lol.nnPool was refreshing, hot tub had a very wonderful outside shower. Those are truly my favorite.nnThe place is set up for campers and tents but the parking was a little confusing.nnHiking was amazing with a cool breeze when we went. Trails were marked with blue ud83dudc99. Only thing maybe put some blue up high so people know which tributary is the ranch. We didn't need it but some might.nnWe settled down Sunday night and watched Priscilla Queen of the Desert. It's been a while. The room was packed up to 8 people so the room was a great common area to meet.nnSeriously wonderful main space equipped with a bar for drinks and live entertainment Jam eoke. Very comfy setup with couches. Great food prices and wonderful cooks. I didn't have any bad everything was good. ud83dude0bnnThey have many events, leather, drum circles, pool parties to name a few.

I recently went out to Copper Cactus Ranch Men’s Retreat to support a friend on his first-time visit. This was my first visit as well. We both took advantage of the day pass. I’m used to a more city environment, like the resorts in Palm Springs close to restaurants or other activities. The thought of driving on a dirt road wasn’t on the top of my do list.nnShocked describes my experience. This is unlike any resort I’ve ever stayed at and I cannot wait to come back here. One doesn’t need the “city” everything you need is right here. The food was great. My hamburger was terrific and though I didn’t stay for dinner, the homemade pizzas and other offerings were very tempting.nnActivities? A pool, hot tub and trails to go walking or hiking. Seating areas where you can actually talk with your fellow guests. As cell service can be spotty, people are not parked on their phones lining up their next great romance. Look at the various activities on offer depending on the date you go. You will not be bored.nnThe dirt road? Not a big deal. But do read the directions on the website. Your various GPS, Google Maps, WAZE may direct you up to a point and had I read the directions I wouldn’t have taken a slight detour as directed by my GPS up a goat trail!nnI cannot stress enough how warm and welcoming the hosts, Bobbie and Rich were. They took the time introducing us to other guests and staff. Unlike other resorts I’ve stayed at, where owners have their own agendas that ranged from screaming at their guests over the least little thing, to their guests being their personal playground, I saw none of that here. Everyone was made to feel welcome, accepted and at home.

Copper Cactus Ranch is a mens retreat with amazing people. The owners are great, very welcoming AND the guests are wonderful men from all walks of life. This is a place for camaraderie with other men of all shapes, ages, and backgrounds. If you want to be social without the drama, judgement or shallowness of the normal bar, club, or social media scenes this is your place.nnKeep in mind this is a retreat to get away from the city, and not some 5-star resort. Imagine visiting a laid-back family member's 100 year old cabin, not a dude ranch with cattle or horses. The owners are all-in on making a safe space, and pour endless effort into keeping the place going. I've been five times and weekends range from an all-out party to a quiet time with a few people. If you plan to avoid other guests, this is not a place for you. You'll want to make friends and spend time doing activities with others. That comraderie is where this place shines.nnI prefer to camp in a big tent, so I have limited experience with staying in the rooms. The included amenities make it easy. No worries over food, beverages, hot showers or indoor toilets. Even bags of ice for a cooler can be purchased on-site.nnOn my first visit I had many fears, and low expectations. However, every fear I had was wrong, and every expectation vastly exceeded. This is not a bath house, nudity is optional, and by no means universal. This is not some hippie commune where you'll worship crystals. This isn't a place exclusive to muscled cowboys.nnCopper Cactus Ranch healed my soul, improved my mental health, and initiated strong personal growth. I fit in there. I don't feel forgotten by the LGBT+ scene anymore. Visit for the people, seriously.
