This is a gem! In no way we we disappointed. The staff was welcoming, calm and friendly. The rooms were spacious. The whole hotel was well kept and clean-- in good repair. We enjoyed a swim in the indoor pool which was warm but still refreshing. The parking was easy. I hope to return.
This hotel was very nice! Inside is nice everything nice to look at cause of the decor the rooms come with everything you need microwave fridge and extra pillows and coffee maker! Also is downtown walking distance to a lot of places! The older couple that were there they were super friendly as well they have a heated indoor pool!!! I would defiantly recommend this place and book again here! The only bad thing is the weird parking but other than that 5 stars
So this hotel wasn't anything super fancy however, the hotel staff was one of the most well-mannered staff I've ever met. They were super friendly funny and kind and conversational. The rooms we're large for a non five star hotel and the bathroom and separate sink room were nice as well there was a lot of mirrors which I enjoyed and a lot of lighting. The rooms had windows from the floor to the ceiling that covered one whole wall and that was gorgeous had a nice day
I really like the overall atmosphere of this place - 1980s victorian would be a close description.nPool is great especially in Winter. Room was good size and cozy with good view. Bed is a little too soft. Pillows are large and soft, however one is not enough and two is too many. The biggest issue however, was clogged drains in bath/shower and sink. Maintenance attempted to fix but could not. This happened last visit as well. The drain pipes in this hotel need some serious attention and probably expensive repairs or replacement.
Location was awesome if you are into the riverfront, which we are. Bed and pillows were perfect. The locked garage was a nice bonus. Staff was super friendly. It's an older hotel but well maintained. The 7th floor rooftop deck was closed for COVID but looked awesome, so looking forward to coming back when it's open.
