Motel 6 Santa Rosa, NM

This room was smaller than many of the other Motel 6s I have stayed at. It was quiet and the desk clerk was friendly. However we had one outlet for the refrigerator and microwave. When we arrived the refrigerator was not plugged in and smelled bad. The microwave had also not been cleaned. The room was not very secure either. The deadbolt on our door did not work either but luckily I was smart enough to bring a door security bar with us so I could brace the door.

The staff was absolutely phenomenal!! A huge family crisis is what actually brought us to the area and they went above and beyond to help with anything that was in their power to do. We are so thankful and appreciative of everything they did for our family, I honestly don't know how we would've gotten through it without Jesse, Jackie and Wanda.....they are absolutely the hidden gems and guardian angels of that place and we were so blessed to have found them.

The tub had quite a bit of mold and hard water build up and was small for an adult to occupy. The bedding, beds and pillows were all sufficient and comfortable. The heating and cooling worked well. A big plus is a proximity to Carl Jr's and that the staff is wearing masks and observing social distancing. The website indicated presence of a coin laundry at this site, and there were no actual laundry facilities.

I had a good stay at this hotel. For the price paid, I found a clean room with decent furniture. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would stay here again on my next trip through.
