3rd Street Nest Bed & Breakfast

Exceptional room and breakfast. Wonderful host! Sad we only stayed one night but were traveling farther south. Great value for a comfortable home.

Love this place. I had the upstair Garden Room with detached private bathroom. The place is super clean, quiet and homey. Jane made some awesome French toast, cantaloupe and bacon for breakfast! I found new friends at breakfast ud83eudd17 The room & food was priced right and would definitely stay there again when in Lamar.

Comfortable, Jacuzzi tub yes! Wonderful hospitality. I don't see ever needing to come to Lamar again, but might just to stay here again.

Jane was a wonderful host, breakfast was superb. The bed was very comfortable and loved the period style furnishings. We will stay there again.

Simply the best B&B we've stayed in! The host Jane lives onsite and was wonderfully responsive and just plain nice. She did a great job with staying conscious of COVID-19 restrictions, we never felt worried about it. In addition, the B&B only has two rooms so interaction with others would always be minimal ... we were the only guests there when we stayed.nn3rd Street Nest Bed and Breakfast is on the historic register and it is clear that Jane has gone out of her way to preserve the historic details. The exterior paint job alone is impressive. She has done a great job with decorating inside as well, with much attention to detail such as matching wallpaper on the exposed water pipes. Jane also has fun with additional holiday decor ... we were there near the 4th of July and were treated to lots of interesting stars and stripes embellishments.nnEverything was spotlessly clean, the food was great, and the bed was really comfortable (clearly quality). We stayed in the downstairs suite which had three rooms and two entrances. It was a super comfortable space with many thoughtful amenities. We had our dog with us and this was a well-positioned room for him as well. The yard is HUGE and fenced, the house also has two large porches that we enjoyed in the evening. The suite has a pair of air conditioners and it was easy to create a temperature that was comfortable for us.nnWe only stayed for a night but I’d recommend a longer stay that than - it’s a gem!
