Pumpelly House Bed & Breakfast

Christine was fabulous from the start!nWe had our wedding here and stayed in the bed and breakfast. During these crazy times with COVID, Christine and her staff immediately set to work to make sure our wedding happened in a safe and compliant manner. We couldn’t have asked for more. Beautiful setting, great food, beautiful bed and breakfast! Christine was awesome to work with and everything went beautifully! She even did a special dance to make the rainy forecast go away and IT WORKED! Sunny and beautiful day! Thank you Christine!

Very pleasant stay. The hosts are super nice. The room we stayed on was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious! I recommend it.

Dinner served with crud on forksand a hair in food which was ok because the chicken parm I'm sure was pre- frozen Purdue breaded cutlets. Hosts possibly (very likely) drunk & definitely belligerent hillbilly types with too many political endorsements posted. We don't need that when we're on a vacation break. Pulled back bedding to find a nest of mice. Needless to say we left.

The Pumpelly House was the ceremony and reception site for my daughter's wedding 10/19/19. This property was perfect for my daughter's vision of an intimate and unique setting. The well maintained grounds offered several different backdrops and the owner, proprietor, and event planner Christine accommodated our requests for just the right location. We stayed in the very reasonably priced and luxurious B&B rooms the night before and after the event and I would recommend this arrangement wholeheartedly. The carriage house was a treasure to behold and there is no place like it around; many of the authentic architectural details are preserved throughout, adding to the character and charm of the venue. While surroundings are key, food and service are the most important and both were top notch. We received many compliments from our guests about what a great experience they had which just added to the overall perfectness of the day.

I was disappointed in the fact that there was no handicap parking making it extremely hard to get to.
