Owego Treadway Inn & Conference Center

Had reservations with 2 friends for 2pm. They were out if prime rib, ham was salty fish and chicken was dry. Potato salad was potato with plain mayo. Dessert was dry too. Never got any soup. Felt sorry for the waitress because she was awesome. Never going back there. Sadly, we were hoping to find a nice place to go for holiday meals. How do you run out of stuff when you have reservations? ....

Gabby did a wonderful job answering all of our questions and ensuring everything was available and timely for our rehearsal dinner and reception. Our guests we're all pleased with their hotel rooms and experience. We appreciate you helping us with our wedding day!

It was a room to sleep in. Nothing fancy. Small room, small bathroom, look outdated. My biggest concern is a safety issue. The way the beds are set up leaves a rod sticking out from under the bed. I trip over it. Being disabled already, it didn't quite work out too well for me. I did put my cane on the rod as a reminder that it was there. So be aware of that in case your bed is set up that way. Otherwise it was fine, a bed to sleep in.

This hotel had been taken over by another chain, but I forget the name. It was sufficient. Not very clean, not very safe ( doors/locks had issues), ice machine on ground floor was broken. Smoking receptacles placed right outside all doors to hotel, and there were many smoking staff who didn't give consideration to non smokers and children coming and going. I guess the pros are that they allow pets, they offer WiFi, free breakfast, and the staff are pleasant. Also, the ground floor rooms have a nice view/access to the river.

My family went there today for Easter dinner. At 2:00 PM they had run out of roast beef. by 2:30 they had run out of ham, and the tray of bacon and eggs had been emptied. They had a total of four deserts on display (all the same). At $27/plate the buffet was a huge disappointment. We have been there several times for Mothers Day and Easter previously. We won't be back.
