Holiday Inn Express & Suites Middletown - Goshen

Staff is always friendly & willing to help. Rooms are immaculate & very cozy.they have a laundry room & also a pool. Bree is the best customer service rep & always delightful. Service with a smile & aim to please

I really wanted to like this place because it is so new, but I wasn't terribly impressed. The staff gets five stars; they were quite nice and helpful. The building itself, though, not so much. The elevators are two no-brand monsters that make a huge racket, move slowly and jerkily, and frankly remind me of freight elevators in some 1940s-era NYC buildings. The pool was small, more like a hot tub on steroids, and is about 25' square and 4' deep, so basically a kiddie pool. The pool room was chilled to somewhere around 60°, and the water not much more so I was reminded of a Polar Bear Plunge I did once and was out in less than a minute. Public spaces already have damaged wallpaper in what? Six weeks? Room fixtures were new and generally clean, but Housekeeping did a poor job cleaning the tub. The bathroom door is a cool sliding affair, but the handle is ill-placed and damaged the wall. Wifi instructions were poor and difficult to understand for non-tech savvy people. I got the room for $110/night after a 40% discount on hotels.com; a very poor value considering there's a Marriot less than two miles away at a comparable price. Were I a traveler, this would be towards my last resort choices at this price point in the Middletown area.

This was the most horrible experience! I called down for towels that were not available in our room.... the 2 females on duty, treated me extremely awful! When I was given towels and extra blanket in plastic comforter bag... the one female, literally pushed the bag into me... I should call the cops on her but I have 2 young children who I don't want to subject trauma to... THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Our first time there halloween weekend .. nice clean rooms clean halls stuff was very friendly and helpful .. rooms are great nice and modern .. Ramirez family my son was the t-rex walking in the hall ud83dude00 see you guys soon .. thanks again

Would get 5 stars but for two things. First, the walls and floors transfer noise easily. Surprising for a brand new building. Second, the continental breakfast is severely lacking, actually not even worth it. Beside that the staff is great. The rooms are clean and modern.
