Super 8 by Wyndham Webster/Rochester

I recently stayed here for a few days after moving out of my apartment and before I could get into my next place. The rooms were very cheap- and pet friendly- which is why I picked to stay here. I wasn’t expecting much since I knew I was paying a very low price but I honestly was so happy with the hotel! My room had a microwave and a mini fridge in it which I was it expecting at all. The floors were hardwood so I felt like it was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Every staff member that I interacted with was very wonderful and helpful if I needed anything. This was my first hotel stay since covid and I felt very comfortable with everything.

OK for a quick stay, like overnight. Giving it 3 stars because of the staff. Both front lobby and cleaning staff were super friendly and despite being short on housekeeping staff our room was very clean!nThe room was accessible and had a mini fridge, microwave, small coffeemaker and hair dryer. The linens were good, not great but good but the pillows were great!nOnly 2 negatives were there was a slight urine smell in one corner (but we brought our febreeze plug-in because we brought our cat so that took care of that) and the volume and power didn't work on the remote. ( God forbid we should have to walk a few feet to turn a TV on or adjust the volume! )nGOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY.

Disregard my last review! The crews over there treated us amazingly and they did a great job on preparing the rooms and cleaning everything. I would give a 5 star on this one!

The rooms were clean and good value for the money. Staff were friendly. However, the internet service was non-functional and staff did not do anything to try to fix it. Free breakfast was advertised at time of booking, and at check-in staff promised take-away breakfast bags in lieu of standard breakfast due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, both mornings of our stay breakfast was not provided, causing our family to spend additional unexpected money elsewhere to provide breakfast and exceeding our travel budget.

Recently stayed here. First of all, none of the workers wore masks. Even the front desk clerk would not wear a mask as I approached. I have concerns that they are taking the proper precautions to keep the place sanitary in any way. First and second rooms I was put in smelled terribly of smoke. They have a non smoking policy, but apparently that doesn't apply to everyone. The appliances in the room I stayed in did not work including the hair dryer, tv and refrigerator. The bed practically folded in on itself. This place is a disgrace of a hotel and whoever owns this place should be ashamed of the type of establishment they are running.
