The Applewood Inn

This is a five-star review on an old school budget hotel. If you're expecting a resort you'll be disappointed. If you're looking for a clean comfortable room and one of the most friendly and hospitable owners you won't do better. The price was excellent and our stay was memorable.

We had a very brief but nice stay at Applewood Inn. Our plan was to stay in the Bay for the weekend but something unexpected came up and we had to leave to help a friend. We arrived late, after dark and Mickey was waiting for us and showed us to our room. He had the air on and was at the door so we would know where to go. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitelynstay here again and hopefully get to spend more time at the motel.

This place is an absolute gem in Alexandria Bay, it may seem a little bit rustic, but between the fantastic location, spectacular customer service, in recent renovations - this is one of the best deals on the eastern seaboard. Quick access to the border, and a very relaxing environment makes this an Alexandria Bay gem. I would have given this eight stars out of five, this is a wonderful place to stop for a couple of days

Whenever we go to Alex Bay, this where we stay. We have been staying with them for 3 years now. Love the peacefulness, owners know you by name and are very friendly. Very clean. They make sure you have everything you need. Congratulations!!!!!! See you soon.
