Edgewood Resort & Conference

Love staying here! Bees were a bit much this year. Staff tried to spray, but it didn't help. We had a Great time! Food is great in the restaurant. Kids had a great time in the pool. Can't wait to come back.

View from dining room is beautiful, the service is awesome, the food is hit or miss. 4 fish fry, 3 great 1 fishy tasting and the burgers look like they came from Macdonalds. Server handled problem very well. Will go back again.

The resort is a family run operation. It's well over 100 years old. I found the staff to be very friendly and the grounds are very clean. There are several buildings. The building I was in hads been recently renovated and it is very comfortable. The pool was wonderful and the grounds are lovely for a morning walk. This is July, 2020 and of course it is not full this year. I wish they had spread people out more in between rooms, lots were open. I do not like it that smoking is allowed on the porches. I got stuck with smokers on both sides of my room. It prevented me from enjoying sitting outside of my room in the evening and morning. Had to keep my door closed because smoke was coming in my room.

We stayed in a room right on the water, just what we were looking for. The view was amazing. Can't wait to come back. Give this place a try. The are renovating all the while. The pool is awesome. Because of Covid, the restaurant is open Thurs-Sun, which is understandable. We were pleasantly surprised. You will be, too.
