Cadence Lodge at Whiteface

Very warm and inviting lodge, rooms are not large, but very well decorated and designed. They provide a free nourishing continental breakfast. Small fridge equipped. I love the Maple wood trim in the rooms. Very convenient to Lake Placid. Just feels homey. Reasonably priced. Scenic views all around.

Our stay Cadence Lodge was really excellent. The room was well stocked and very clean. The rooms and office were decorated very tastefully with Adirondack themes and reasonably priced and the wifi worked well. The Cadence Lodge is a short 5 minute drive to Whiteface Mountain and 12 miles to Lake Placid. Shelly, Don and Hanna were a pleasure to meet and I would definitely go back again.

Very nice little place to stay. Check in was super simple with COVID precautions, room was very big and nicely cleaned. Very quiet place to stay. Only compliant was my shower on the last day never really got hot, but other than that would stay there again

Nicest staff you could ask for! Really clean rooms, awesome breakfast. Hot water was a bit funky but it was -11 out so they may have contributed. Thanks again!

This place is a hidden gem. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The owners are super friendly. Great proximity to Whiteface and Lake Placid with very reasonable rates. Full service sit down breakfast included on the weekends, and it is delicious with options for whatever you like. Great pavilion with a gas fireplace, bar setup and TV plus a fire pit for relaxation. I would recommend this motel to anyone traveling to the Lake Placid area.
