Elmwood Village Inn

Lovely place . Friendly hosts beautiful accommodations close to lots of galleries and sites .

I personally recommended this spot to a family who rented out most of the rooms & they could not speak more highly of the inn. Very kind hosts, really nice rooms with great interior design, and the perfect location for anyone staying in Buffalo. This is a beautiful gem in Elmwood Village and would recommend even for a stay-cation to locals.

The inn was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We stayed in the Master Suite, which was very spacious and luxurious. The only slight warning that I would give is that the bathroom is very tight, and since it has a walk-in shower next to the sink (with no curtain), you really can't use the sink while your spouse is showering unless you want to get soaked. We enjoyed spending time on the patio when we weren't out and about exploring Buffalo. Karen was extremely helpful in giving us great ideas for the limited time that we had to spend. She let us know about a Veg Fest that was going on the evening that we arrived at Riverside Park, and that was a lot of fun. She also suggested that we go on a free tour the next day of the Buffalo City Hall building, which was excellent. We also made use of a brochure she pointed out with lots of self-guided walking tours throughout the city. We were not expecting breakfast based on the information on the inn's website, but were pleasantly surprised with some oatmeal and yogurt/granola on one of the two mornings that we were there. There were freshly-baked treats and fruit on the other morning that we were there, but we went to Ashker's for a more substantial breakfast, which was very good. You can't beat the location of this inn, as the Elmwood Village is great for strolling and has lots of great restaurants and shopping. We would love to come back again for another visit!

This is a Great B&B. Beautiful old home in a great area. There was a concert in the park while we were there only a block away. Karen is a wonderful hostess and is very knowledgeable about the area. Sent us to a great restaurant for Buffalo Wings. Would definitely stay here again!
