Roosevelt Inn of Hyde Park

We wanted a small getaway for Fourth of July with our two small boys. As NY is trying to open up, we were happy to have a chance to stay at such a comfortable motel with every protocol thinking about safety. They invested in a keurig for every room and a brand new laundry bag for used towels. Room has direct tv(no premium channels like Disney and HBO but TV is equipped for a fire stick). Sad I didn’t get to check out their coffee shop or eat at CIA but now we have a reason to return!

Very clean comfortable place. The lady running the office was helpful & pleasant. A great bargain at 100$ a nite

The room was very big and the inn is doing everything possible to help combat covid-19 and it's very good to see. Also provides a long list of local restaurants and their current status with the covid restrictions.

(Covid-19 visit) Old-fashioned motel with well-organized Covid-19 measures. Each room has its own heating-cooling system & room doors let out directly onto the parking lot. Rooms are aired for 2 or 3 days between guests & direct staff interactions are minimaized (in our case, nonexistent). Nice rooms, too. We hope they survive this catastrophe!

We booked a room in May to stay at the Roosevelt Inn in October 2020. Four days before our reservation, we received an e-mail from the Roosevelt Inn cancelling our reservation due to COVID-19 restrictions, because our home address is not in New York. While we understand that there are special restrictions due to COVID, it would have been nice to have more than four days notice that our reservation was cancelled, particularly because their own cancellation policy is much more strict.
