The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and sleep came instantly for me, and I never fall asleep anywhere without taking significant time and effort. That is saying something!nnHarry could not have been a better host, painstakingly outlining all of the instructions and details of the room, with the most amazing personality and kind warmth of any innkeeper we’ve met.nnWe have been to dozens of Bed and Breakfasts all over the country, and this easily ranks among the best.nnInn the Woods is the only place to consider for your needs when looking for a peaceful, quiet, beautiful, romantic, and cozy place to get away from it all, right in Hyde Park NY.nnWe will be back, without question.

Fantastic stay, stayed in the upstairs suite. It was quiet and secluded, big room. Breakfast was amazing, thought was put into every ingredient. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend

We had a great time at Inn the Woods. The served breakfast was made on site from local ingredients if not from their own garden. They homemade everything down to the syrups for our waffles. Valerie and Harrison also gave us excellent recommendations and even upgraded our room to the suite which was AMAZING. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. It's much nicer in real life. Theproximity to area sites of interest is also fantastic. We highly recommend Inn the Woods.
