Had a great one night stay. We were greeted upon arrival and check-in was quick. Rooms were clean and the TV has many options to choose from. The area is safe and there are many dining options within close distance including a grocery store. Slept great in our room and had no noise issues. The only downside was the normal breakfast wasn’t available due to the pandemic. Instead they offer a breakfast bag which is still nice. Overall a very nice stay reasonably priced.

I have been a Marriott fan for about the past ten years and have always had a great experience, up until this stay. The staff was extremely rude. Where do I begin? While I was waiting in line to check in, a homeless man walked in and asked if he could stand in between the double doors (not even in the lobby) for 5 minutes to warm up before he begins walking again and the women working the front desk refused him. He wasn't harming anyone or in the way of patrons - he literally wanted 5 minutes of heat and she turned him down. My heart broke for this poor man and it spoke volumes to the otherwise reputable friendly staff. Second, this same women working the front desk, argued with me about my bill. I booked through a 3rd party booking site and in my confirmation email it stated that my card was not charged and would be charged by the hotel upon my arrival. This woman argues with me that the 3rd party ALWAYS charges the card direct and not the hotel. After showing her the email on the phone she called the manager out to which the manager echoed her claim. Once I said "okay, I guess I'll stay for free in your hotel" the manager chose to log onto her computer, pull up my information and wouldn't you know it? "Oh, I guess we do need to charge your card..." I understand we are human and make mistakes, it was the fact they were both very rude and chose to argue with me instead of verifying the information BEFORE the argument ensued. It wasn't at all necessary. Third and final disappointment with my stay at this Marriott; why is the COVID-19 Pandemic an excuse to offer poor service and minimal amenities? No maid services are offered unless your stay exceeds 5 days. Unbelievable! I view this entirely as a way to cut back costs since you won't be keeping your housekeepers as busy and not anything in regards to "my safety" or the safety of the staff because my risk is the same when I enter the room after they have cleaned on day 1 or day 3. Their risk is the same also. And the breakfast, if you can even call it that, was horrendous. If a child showed up to school with a sack lunch similar to what was handed out to us, Child Protective Services would be called on the Mother. I'll just leave it at that. Marriott hotels have always been a pleasant stay and offered top notch customer service and loyal customers like myself should expect that at every Marriott but this hotel was less than satisfactory. I will not return and I will recommend my friends and colleagues to stay elsewhere in the future.

We traveled to Midvale for a funeral. The staff was great. The rooms were clean and very nice. We stayed in a suite. They let us use the dining room to visit with all of our family attending the funeral. Our children stayed in different rooms and they all spoke well of the rooms and the hair and body care items provided. Thanks for such good service in such a sad time in our lives .

We have stayed at this Fairfield dozens of times since it was new. It has been a great value offering excellent amenities and service. But like many in the hotel business they are using the COVID as a scapegoat to practically give up on customer service so they can dramatically reduce costs. The wonderful breakfast buffet is now a muffin and juice in a bag - unless they run out then it’s a room temperature yogurt and everything in smaller than airline sizes. Yippee! (You will have to ask for spoons and napkins they don’t include them). And of course they don’t clean your room anymore in the name of “your safety.” Really? Why don’t they make it optional so I can decide if “my safety” is worth having dirty towels and trash taken out? We all know it’s a scam so they can keep staff laid off. Come on Marriott - you are an incredible brand, you can do MUCH better than this. Don’t make the crisis worse for your paying customers!

Though only 4 years old, this Fairfield was clearly another hotel prior. Typical Fairfield cleanliness but the walls were pretty thin. Could hear someone in the next room pretty clearly on the phone. The room doors close hard so if you're a light sleeper and have a neighbor arrive early or late that may be a problem for you. The whole area around the hotel is being improved so there are lots of restaurants near by.
