I drove over an hour to get my road bike and tri bike fitted by Mike. By the time I was done with my 1st fitting, I thought I was riding a completely different bike! I felt way more comfortable on the bike, felt more efficient riding, and felt 100% stronger on my next ride. Highly recommend Mike and Apex Velo for any of your bike needs.

Seriously went the extra mile. In the middle of a pandemic, did a big overhaul on my race bike in no time. On top of that, instead of overselling me on the work, they went out of their way to get the right parts for my (slightly older) bike. I'll definitely be back!

I've gone to many area bike shops over the years, and I really appreciate Apex and their attention to detail on repair and service work, particularly on my higher end bikes. Alex is especially great.

I got a fitting 3 months ago and the team at Apex Velo has been assisting me throughout the process. Mike took his time and gave a thorough fitting. I have tried a number of different seats and positions and he has been very understanding and doing everything he can to keep me riding! The crew gets to know each client up front, their interests, goals, experience and budget. They customize options to the individual while adding their experience and advice. I was NEVER upsold; in fact, the opposite occurred frequently as I asked more questions and the team continued to explain their design around my specific level and experience.nnCustomized Bike Fit: Mike Cahill et al. insisted on my being measured multiple times during the design phase. The technology used is top of the line and while applying their own outstanding technical expertise discovered the optimal position and equipment for my level and goals.nThen the team actually built a bicycle with a similar fit, frameset and components for me to ride.nNow, we’re not talking about a ‘spin’ around the neighborhood. Apex Velo insisted that I ride the bicycle for at minimum several weeks – along with return visits for additional fit adjustments until the optimal fit positions were found.nIt gets better: once we determined the fit frameset and components, Apex Velo insisted that I keep the bicycle that they built for me to ride until my order was completed.nWho does that????nNow this all took place pre and during COVID… no worries from Apex Velo – Mike et al. insisted that I keep riding the bike build until they received my order from overseas. I rode a top-of-the-line machine with multiple different wheelsets over a 9-month stretch!nWho does that???nnFor Mike and the crew, this is much more than a business; it’s a passion.
