This was an excellent experience to go here and learn the good work these people do!
My Dad loves it here. He's a very healthy and independent 92 year old and Roger's House is perfect for him!nRoger's House is right across the street from Colburn Park, next to City Hall in Lebanon. Up until the 1960's it was the Roger's House Hotel and was THE place to stay in town.nIt was converted to apartments for seniors 60 and up. There's no staff on premises, but they do have services that come in for the residents. Things like haircuts and perms, musical acts like Jim Hollis and others come to perform in the function room, etc.nThe residents get together once a month to celebrate birthdays and the full kitchen allows for the occasional group to make dinners for all the residents.nThey have a library, laundry facilities, and they play cards or other games several nights each week.nRoger's House really is a wonderful place for seniors to live and with band concerts and the farmers market right across the street at Colburn Park, it keeps them quite active. Of course, the front porch looking out across the town offers some prime porch-sittin' too!
