This is a beautiful old home filled with local history. It's walking distance from bars restaurants,stores and the local beach. A great advantage because you can leave a car at the house and walk not having to worry about parking.

It is wonderful to find a historic home as a B&B. Somehow I was unhappy with my room The DuchessAnne. It may need some decorative and set up arrangements. I personally like the bed facing the windows. This room may need one or two wall TVs and a newer fridge with a small bar cart or coffee machine. There is full body mirror. The bathroom is a stand shower. One towel had a hole, but they can be cleaned daily. The room was never cleaned while we stayed there for three nights.nHaving an old home as hotel could be better with upgraded appliances to make the bedroom pleasant and more comfortable and not only a place to sleep after a long day.nThe living room is inviting and the kitchen is simply charming in its original rustic, antique style.

Charming Old Inn in terrific location with a very friendly atmosphere. Dwayne ad Claudine made us feel most welcome. Small but comfortable room. Very clean. Superb full breakfasts, varied each day and equally good each day. We hope to go back again.

Super sweet Inn with the most delightful hosts & hostess of all times. The location is supreme, the rooms cozy as all get out, but far and away the best part of the Black Boar Inn experience was meeting Claudine, Queen Bee of the Inn. Claudine is one of those rare individuals that just beams light into the world. She attends to all the important details and then some to give each guest a special individual experience, and does it all in her calm, cool, enjoyable style. This just became our favorite place to stay in Ogunquit.
