Can't imagine staying anywhere else! Staying at the Home Port Inn absolutely MADE my stay in Lubec. I was greeted by the host, Suzannah, immediately upon arrival and she made sure I immediately felt comfortable. I absolutely recommend the Library Room--the decor is so cozy and the book selection is amazing. The location made it the perfect home base to explore the city and all of the incredible vistas so nearby. Great conversations, delicious breakfasts, plus helpful tips about town all add up to me hoping to return very soon!
Stayed here on the weekend and we were greeted by the host. Suzannah was very nice and accommodating to our needs. We stayed in the Library Room which was filled with wonderful books. Breakfast was excellent. The only thing we had an issue with was the bed. The mattress felt like we were sleeping on a “board” of a bed that had no cushion and seemed like it had seen better days.nnWe’d stay here again but probably try a different room next time.
In addition to the warm and cozy ambience of the home, Susanna, (owner and operator) was gracious and welcoming. We felt very much at home throughout our week long stay there. The living room beckoned us to sit awhile and just enjoy the moment in this lovely place, with opened windows and breezes passing through on those warm summer days. Add to that the delicious breakfast that was served every morning! We definitely plan to return!
Perfection!! Susannah hosted us before our nuptials and she couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. The location is excellent, the inn is beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious!! Can't wait to return and stay with her again.
A wonderful place to dwell and felt like home in the Inn.
