My mom and I stayed here overnight. We stayed in a lovely suite that had a living room with a pull out couch bed, and a Queen sized bed in the other room. The bathroom was in the bedroom area. Both rooms are bright and sunny, with lovely details. The bed is very comfortable, the couch pull out bed is manageable. (It's not super comfortable, but certainly satisfactory for a sofa bed.) The breakfast was really nice. We have fresh raspberries and pineapple, with a fresh baked apple turnover. My mom requested a piece of toast which was graciously provided. The juice was delicious, and the coffee and tea hot and fresh. The B&B is centrally located in Bath, with parking on site. It is within walking distance of shopping and dining. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this B&B.

All I can say is I’m extremely impressed by this place and especially the owner, Amy (and her hubby, Mark, too). As a restaurant vet, I’m very well aware there’s plenty of places which can offer you a nice experience. So what makes up the difference? The answer is attention to details. The room was very nice and well appointed. The whole place has that classic, vintage feel. But it was just lots of little things which made this beautiful old house something special. From a gorgeous courtyard, lots of amenities & services, beautifully appointed furnishings & decor and a really marvelous breakfast in the morning. Does she go get wonderful local fruit jams? Nope, she goes and gets the most amazing Blueberry Preserves I’ve ever had made by a bunch of Nuns way off in the middle of the State. And so on, and so on. I got lucky to stay here, I just picked it because it looked cute. But next time I’m in Bath, I’m calling ahead.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Benjamin Parkard House as we were attending a graduation at Bates College over Memorial Day weekend. Our stay could not have been better. The inn keepers, Amy and Mark, are thoughtful, warm and mindful of every detail. The house is decorated with a balance of antiques and modern pieces giving each room a comfortable, artistic feel. Breakfast was yummy, including homemade breads, and fruit cobbler. The weather was pretty chilly, so we didn't take advantage of the garden, but it is just beautiful. The house is in walking distance of restaurants and shops, and we have every intention of returning again soon. I would easily recommend the Benjamin Packard House to family and friends.

I gave three stars because I wasn't a guest. I was on a walking house tour. The yard was beautifully landscaped as most housed in Bath.
