The Elms of Camden is the perfect place to escape to for a getaway. Much thought has gone into room, amenities & breakfasts. The room was very clean & decor beautiful. TV was good size as was bathroom & tub/shower. Room had fireplace with remote. Breakfast was gourmet-really delish w lots of attention to detail. Not only was there the most yummy yogurt I had ever had - accompanied by berries & granola, but also a complete hot breakfast that included eggs cooked to perfection. It was all in the right proportions, so as not to feel overstuffed for the rest of the morning. Location was ideal w coast, as well as Ctr of this quaint Maine town, just a short walk, bike ride or drive away. Gary & James were the perfect hosts - even though we had never met before, it was like being w dear friends at breakfast. We wore masks when walking around the Inn & were able to be socially distanced from another couple while eating in the morn. Such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
Beautiful home & accommodations! Excellent location- walking distance to the cute town of Camden. And the breakfast each morning were so amazing! Thank you so much James & Gary! We loved the experience & will be back!
Our recent stay at The Elms of Camden was our 4th visit with Gary & James, and we can't imagine staying anywhere else in Maine. From the delicious, special breakfasts to their knowledgeable tips for entertainment, our stay there is always the best. We felt totally safe with the protocols in place during this pandemic and again watched these two go out of the way to be sure each guest had everything they might need. We love Camden and its surrounding areas, finding new things to explore on each visit. We already have our next reservation made for the spring.
Great stay at Elms of Camden! Proprietors were great, friendly, accommodating and extremely conscientiousness re: Covid precautions. I stayed in the Aster room - very charming. Everything as pictured, etc on website. The house is on a main road, but noise was not an issue. About 7 min walk to talk town!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Gary and James. The room was comfortable, the food was delicious, and the location was excellent. We would highly recommend and would absolutely return.
