Like time traveling 20 years back to the past! Use to come up every summer as a kid, but haven't been back for literally 20 years! Alot is just the same with just the right amounts of upgrades with out losing it's original charm. Happy to finally be able to bring my own son up here, and relive everything all over! Great place and will definitely be back for many more years and memories to come!

Good scene, family friendly but you can still have a beer... just be discrete walking the property. Golf cart rental is a must and process should be improved.

It was really a great place to stay as far as accommodations are concerned. Staff were nice and the facilities and grounds were well taken of. However, I am from Maine and it is very much a way of life here. The folks from Massachusetts pretty much ruined what would have been a great time. They come here to use our resources and they let their kids run around and do whatever they want. There were incidences of vandalism, rudeness, and a complete disregard for the wildlife. I overheard one lady telling her daughter that it doesn't matter what you look like because you are in maine. I had to tell several groups of teenagers (Not children) to stop harassing the wildlife. One girl was trying to catch a duckling to take home just because she wanted one and the mother duck was trying to peck her. That made the girl angry so she started throwing stuff at the ducks. And it's not just the kids. Adults leave doors open to air conditioned spaces and cut in line. Oh and the golf carts! They were everywhere and i dont generally have a problem with golf carts but they drive them like they are in MA! Fast! And young teenagers were wheeling around in them. The golf carts were a danger. folks from Maine are raised to respect people, their property and the value of money. Outsiders do whatever gets them what they want and money never seems to be a factor. It was a real bummer and although I would love to book another week next summer we are now thinking of other campgrounds that are mainer based.
