Never Ending Cycles

This is an excellent bike shop. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to test ride a few bikes until I found the right one for me.

Don't go to this place I called on the phone and asked them if thay will fix my bike without having to drop it off and they said yes so soon as I get to the bike shop they tell me that I have to drop the bike off which was an inconvenience because if they would have told me that in the first place I wouldn't have went into the bike shop in the first place thay have had other bad reviews before don't know how thay have gotten the othere bad reviews taken off of here this place is a joke stay away from this bike shop

I went to this bike shop because it was supposed to be women led and lgbtq friendly. Everyone except one person wore a mask and the person who didn't wear a mask seemed to a supervisor. He didn't seem personable but that's okay. There was only one female there and she seemed to be more of an assistant that worker. The bike needed a flat repaired and a tune up. They did a good job but when I picked up the bike, and I admit I didn't have my claim ticket, they brought out a blue Raleigh, I told them that the bike was a pink bike and the guy in charge said that the Raleigh was the bike I brought in I figured that they would realize their mistake later and contact me and they could pick up the Raleigh and drop off my bike. After putting the bike in the car with the assistance of the young lady I asked her to check one more time because the Raleigh had a quick release front wheel where as the bike I brought in did not. She went back in shop and explained my concerns and, finally, they decided to look around and found the correct bike. The guy in charge told me that that is why they needed the claim ticket and that they go by first names, I gave them my last name when first claiming the bike, and he also said that my mask made it hard to understand my last name. I told him that the mask stays on but one would think that it wouldn't be that difficult to figure out the correct bike to return to a customer. I don't know, aside from the young lady, I didn't get a good vibe from the guy. Again, they did fix the flat and the bike rides well but I won't be going back. I just felt put off. I think they do good work but most bike shop personnel are laid back and friendly, I didn't feel that in this shop.

I stopped into Never Ending Cycles today for the first time for a new 700c tire and inner tube. My old tire had a big lump in the tread/ sidewall area. The staff, Mike and Letty , were great to work with. They were able to install a new 700c tire and inner tube on my dismounted wheel while I waited. For the last 15 years I was going to the bicycle connection on Roselle Rd just north of Golf Road but they went out of business in 2019, very sad. I always try to find small family owned bicycle shops to work with. Give this place a try, nice shop. Just be patient , they are really busy. Humans can only do one task at a time.nNick S
