Ran into a snag with a uhaul trailer with a storage unit who was supposed to be open until 4pm but was closed upon arrival at 3:15. Uhaul redirected my contract to Bicycle World who was open until 6pm. They service was great - they saved the day from having to postpone a scheduled pickup. Also, the inside of the bike shop was great! Large selection and organized with excellent staff.
After Bike Surgeon turned me away (they don't work on my kind of bike) I called around and found Bike World. Drove over after calling ahead. My bike was fixed in about 10 minutes in the parking lot. Granted it was an easy repair (shift cable being crimped by add-on handle) but they fixed it in the parking lot while I watched!!!! This saved me a trip to St. Louis and a possible wait to ride again. They wouldn't accept payment either!!!!!!!!! When I wanted to but something (I do need a helmet light and will go tomorrow for one) they chased me out!!! What a great place!!!!!!
I bought a Schwinn bike from someone on OfferUp ($60.00). It was clear that it needed to have a little work done, but overall a great bike. I took this bike to Bicycle World and I’m glad I did. The staff is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Upon entering the shop I was greeted immediately. Although she was with another customer at the time she took the time to acknowledge me, so that was a plus. I believe it was Hal came out from working on a bike in the back, looked at my bike pointed out a few problems, gave me a price and showed me others that he had in the store. I’m new to bike riding so I wanted to buy a used good bike before I purchased a more expensive bike first. The day I went to pick up my bike, the tune-up and repairs was much cheaper than what was quoted to me. I took my bike out in the back for a ride and it rode like a new one. I will definitely come here to purchase my next bike and I would recommend Bicycle World to anyone. Great service!!!!!
I give bicycle world a 10 plus there always so nice to everyone love it so much ❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❣ufe0f I'm getting my granddaughter a bike here for her birthday when she gets a little older I buy all my bikes here Hal is a nice guy he knows his job I recommend bicycle world ya can't go wrong
Went in to this shop as a recreational cyclists looking for help with the purchase of a new bike that fit my personal needs. Nathan was phenomenal. He Spent time with me explaining the pros and cons of every bike in several different price ranges. Encouraged me to take test rides. Never pressured me into any price range. Just showed me what was best for my needs and stuck to my price range. Gabby was amazing at searching other stores when I said I wasn’t fond of specific colors. And when it came down to the perfect bike for me. I made comment that the seat was uncomfortable, Nathan simply said. “pick a more comfortable seat and we’ll just swap them.“ Made the switch from trek to giant. And Bicycle world made that transition easy and enjoyable. They have bikes for all rides of life and Nathan and Gabby came help you find it.
