Terribly cheap. You get what you pay for. A few days is fine. After that spend the extra money for a better room. It smelled bad and the heat didn't work.
Cheap hotel equals cheap retro furnished hotel room! Don't expect anything more than a 2 star hotel stay here! If you want 4 or 5 hotel rooms go spend 3 or 4 more times the money at a 4 or 5 star hotel!

The very kind folks who manage Monticello are extremely nice, and are a pleasure to visit with, the various rooms I have stayed in were good, very comfortable and clean, I have paid double the price elsewhere and they were not so great, so give Monticello credit, they will take care of you, and if by chance you have drug issues, then you shouldn’t be there anyway, it makes it hard on others who are staying there.
