The hotel is in the best area I found in Montgomery AL. I was in town for a week for business. Lots of stores and restaurants , the hotel has everything you need. The staff was kind , professional and very accommodating. The room is nice but not clean , crumbs on floor, trash between night stand and bed, and the bathroom smelled of urine. The kitchen floor was sticky with a foul smell . The linen was clean , and since I had stopped and got cleaning supplies for the job site and was too tired to move all my luggage. I cleaned the room and rid it of the smell. I need weekly accommodations for the next 7 months , but my biggest complaint is that the mask requirement by the hotel was not enforced at all. Only a handful of patrons wore masks. With a deadly contagious virus going on, the mask mandate is important to me. I will not lodge here in the coming months. And I will report this to the state and Marriott.

Got up the next morning to see what options they had to drink because I was interested in purchasing a sprite or ginger ale. They didn’t have either, so I walked back down the hall to our room. Seconds later, we receive a call from the manager on duty. “One of your guests just took something, so would you like me to charge it to your room”. She was very rude and snarky and it was no reason for her to accuse us of stealing, especially when she stated herself that they had cameras. Definitely need to hire better staff

Staff was rude. Asked for room service twice and recieved room service once in a 16 night stay. And was told at check in that they come through every 5 days. And even after they came by they did the bare minimum. Only trash can was outside the front door that was constantly overflowing. Would be a great hotel if they could hire someone that actually cleaned the place. Definitely need a trash can on every floor. Especially if they don't clean the rooms every day.

Very clean and nice hotel. Provides hot breakfast while many other similar hotels in the area do not do so, and they also maintain/adhere to Covid regulations. Convenient location right next to restaurants in eastchase, and very close to Super Target. Very friendly staff, esp. Ethel (front desk) who was very kind, pleasant, and helpful. We would definitely stay here anytime we come to Montgomery.
