La Quinta by Wyndham Montgomery

Reasonably priced hotel, but very dirty especially when we have experienced much higher cleaning standards during a pandemic. The room had sticky floors, hair in the bed and shower, and some sticky substance from a spill on the bed side table that had not been wiped off. My sister had a room on another floor and had the same issues. The phone in her room had greasy fingerprints on it and sticky spills on the bedside table that had not been wiped. Staff was nice enough to let us use the common area to have pizza with the family for dinner. The tables had dried food on them from breakfast. We did bring wipes to wipe them down before we ate. Our family decided to skip breakfast and I’m glad we did. Others in our group ate and reported how awful it was. We all headed to the nearby McDonald’s, which was also one of the worst we’ve ate at. Sticking to the Drury in town next time even though it’s a bit more expensive. Worth the extra $.

Very nice hotel.nnThe person who checked us was very good, and corrected my not getting an accessible room before I left the counter.nnThere was plenty of handicapped parking in the parking lot. Along with that the were two Veterans spots as well. Thank you for supporting the troops.nnThe room was spacious and very clean.nnThe breakfast was hot and had a good selection.nnThere were a few restaurants nearby.nnNext time I go to Montgomery, I will check them for availability.

I wouldn’t even give one star if I didn’t have to. I reserved this hotel room 40 minutes away from the RC event I was attending due to two reasons. They advertised an indoor pool and great reviews. Let me begin by saying this place is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The indoor pool isn’t even heated, which isn’t made known until check in. Then I get to my room around 10pm and the attendant at the front is super nice and friendly. The only thing I liked about my stay was the bed was comfortable, that was it. We checked in on a Thursday night. The room we got wasn’t only worth maybe 40-50 a night. Not the 89 a night I paid. If I wasn’t super tired from driving then I would’ve checked right back out. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. The end table was barely hanging on the wall. The outlet attached to it didn’t work. The shower wasn’t clean. They gave me one room key for two adults. I asked for a second one and she says she has to charge for it. Then proceeded to tell me that those keys are very expensive. Saturday around 1-2am someone starts blasting music from down the hall. My husband let them know about it. Then that same day around 1pm the hotel calls and says we left all our things and we were supposed to check out. They tried to say hotels.com didn’t pay them for my entire reservation Thursday- Sunday, which was a lie. Hotels.com called them and then the hotel miraculously can see the full payment after that. Oh and if it’s not bad enough the place was nasty. The luggage carts had trash on them when we checked in and the same trash on them when we checked out. (Forgot to mention that there was barely any lighting, see pictures below)I am posting pictures for that and my hotel room. This is a sorry excuse for a hotel. Don’t stay here. You will be wasting you money like I did. After my pet fee, taxes and room cost I paid 376$ for a room that wasn’t even worth half that.

Clean and reasonably comfortable the way I've come to expect from LA Quinta. Always a safe bet.

It smells great as soon as you walk in, the staff was kind and helped me with whatever I needed. Also my kids loved the stay too and they wanna go back
