My wedding at Hillcrest Manor was absolutely beautiful. I was so blessed that Mary was able to accommodate a short time frame of 3 months from our first meeting to the wedding date. I was glad that she had everything mapped out about options for the big day. There was a lot that I hadn't thought of! I was sad to see some bad reviews of this beautiful event venue.nnThe flowers, food, and venue were more than what I could have expected. My specifics were addressed and followed. I did give Mary free range for the larger floral pieces since she knew her venue and what looked best and I was not disappointed at the result. I have beautiful pictures of that day and my photographer loved the venue and what it had to offer for the many backdrops he needed.nnKudos to the owners and staff for all that they did to make my special day a great one!nnOne point to clear up that many don't realize, is that if you as the bride/groom etc that is making the decisions, says to make food for a certain head count, that is what is made. In the pre-wedding details, it is decided at what size portion is served. In the end, whether you are on a budget or not, your guests should be gracious to eat what is provided.

I have hosted two weddings for my daughters. It was absolutely wonderful. The upstairs rooms where you stay at night are gorgeous. The weddings came off glorious. It was like a fairytale wedding. The girls were so excited about the venue. The wedding coordinator was so very easy to work with. If planning a wedding consider Hillcrest Manor. You will be very pleased.

It was like we were staying in era gone by. The old south the way it used to be! It was very special! Mary & March did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was fantastic!! I don’t think younger people would be able to appreciate this historic manor. They usually want everything new and may be quite spoiled and demanding. We were more than satisfied!nGary & Judy Noland

My granddaughter recently was married there. She called me crying many times due to the lack of respect and Christian hospitality shown by the woman owner of this venue. The wedding day fell very short of what my granddaughter and her new husband were expecting. They were promised more. The woman was horrid to all the guest the day of. It it my understanding that it was due to a personal vendetta. It is also my understanding that the owner made a point a few days before the wedding to privately apologize to the groom for her behavior, but never to the bride herself in whom she actually offended. My family and I found this inappropriate. My granddaughter will not get her wedding day back. I speak for all of us when I say that we were very disappointed in the entire process.

We had our Wedding here and it was an outstanding experience. Our Guests, my wife and myself were completely satisfied in every regard. The host/owner/wedding planner was wonderful. She handled everything we needed from start to finish. We are very greatful.
