A little run down, could use a face-lift. Our tub faucet ran, not much but you couldn't turn it completely off. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very nice. 3 1/2 stars
Nice hotel, with good price. If you are staying in the Columbus area please consider this hotel. Since this hotel is in Alabama, the hotel taxes are much less than Columbus. In Columbus the taxes can be 20% of the bill.
Had a very nice 4 night stay for a family of 4 visiting from Michigan. Only problem I had was the mini fridge had water in the bottom of it when we got there. I love the lower waste options for the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower!
Very clean. Comfortable beds. Felt safe coming and going. It's my second long term visit and will visit again if ever in town again.
We stayed here for the good reviews, but there was no one at the front desk when we arrived but two other ladies who were waiting also. 30 minutes later, I actually called the hotel number but the operator called the front desk, which didn’t help. The receptionist showed up and politely apologized and gave us an upgrade. Okay, cool. When we stepped in the room, it smelled stuffy like an old room and the bathroom was stinky and the light made buzzing noise. Comforter had a stain. I had kinda itchy feeling on the bed sheet. Overall, outdate place that is not worth the cost over $91. I truly don’t understand the good reviews here, was I just unlucky?
