Love the hotel and amenities. Our room was not so good. The first room looked as if someone had sat or laid on the bed. Hair was left in the trash can. We asked to be moved... We were, to a handicapped accessible room and the desk attendant didn't tell us that detail. The second room wasn't much better. The bathroom needed to be cleaned. We had to clean it and the refrigerator before we could use them. There we mixed matched pillows on the beds and wrong pillowcases for them. Love the downstairs with complimentary water. Good price too, just wish it was clean.
Two things I like when I stay. A comfortable pillow and coffee. I had 3 pillows on a king size bed. I’m pretty sure two pillows were made out of one. Coffee was out by 7:30am with 8 cars in the parking lot. I do appreciate the breakfast box, but would rather them have a coffee bar. Employees, well I could have emptied the lobby of furnishings and no one would have noticed. If you’d like to play pool and buy over priced beer in the lobby. This place is for you. It’s definitely tuned towards a younger generation of service, where looks matter but service can suck.
My experience with Tru By Hilton was a personal one nevertheless the hospitality I was shown was beyond words! Thank you Robin you were the best, and also all staff I interacted with. You all greatly impacted me and my children!
From the time my husband & I got there on Saturday am, every thing was just so nice! Especially the front desk worker, Serena Burton. We has been traveling for a long while and she allowed us to check in earlier than normal. She was very accommodating after a VERY long car ride. All we wanted to do was get in and get comfortable before we went back out to meet our family. The bed was very comfortable & the room was clean! HUGE SHOUT OUT to Serena Burton at the Auburn, Alabama Tru by Hilton! Thank you! L. Metts
We were simply passing through, my wife suggested we look at some of the newer brands so we found TRU to be a much better value than some we have visited. The amenities are a bit different but are just fine for a good nights rest.
