Absolutely will not stay here again. Stayed at Fairfield in Opelika, AL last night 3/17/2021. The room was not cleaned properly in the middle of a pandemic, there was a dirty styrofoam cup on the dresser when we checked in, the mini fridge nor the phone worked. The air conditioner was stuck on and we froze all night. The mattress on the pullout sofa was stained and the king size bed was so hard. The guy at the front desk came in and cleaned the dresser and got the cup and he fixed the mini fridge. Nothing else was fixed and the hotel was full so we could not move to a different room. Never again!!
Yet another hotel with the indoor pool and hot tub closed citing covid as an excuse. Well good thing there are other hotels with them open in this area. Room was clean, staff was great, but it's just a hotel without any extras, will take my business elsewhere. These hotels need to start posting the closed amenities on the website and at the very least the front desk, have a feeling management is just trying to get out of maintenance costs.
The location is good, it's near several stores and restaurants. The staff was great! Exceptional customer service from Daron.
The hotel was very nice and the young lady at front desk was very nice. The only but very important issue I had was lack of WiFi. It was basically nonexistent unless you paid extra. No one charges extra for WiFi anymore. This will probably make me for elsewhere if the need arises in the future.
The hotel was quiet, clean, and the staff were very friendly. My only suggestion would be to educate them on the proper way to wear a mask.
