We loved our three night stay at the charming Heritage House for our Anniversary. The Bed and Breakfast was beautiful and each little detail was thought out. Every breakfast meal that we had was hot, filling, and delicious. The “Traveler” room was very clean and certainly spacious enough for us. We especially enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks, mimosas at our weekend breakfast, and swinging in the hammocks. Dani could not have been a lovelier host and it so obvious that she loves what she does! Downtown Opelika is charming and is only a short walk away. We have recommended Heritage House to family and friends, and we hope we get the opportunity to come back again soon!
I wanted a vintage style maternity shoot & Heritage House did not disappoint! We were able to use the entire house and the decor was breathtaking! For an overnight babymoon, we chose to stay in the Garden Suite and it was nothing less than amazing! Breakfast was delicious; they even accommodated my low sodium diet. The house is very homey and you're given lots of privacy! Leif and Dani's hospitality made us feel we were home away from home! Definitely recommend this B&B for events or even a little getaway! Can't wait to stay again!!
Just leaving Heritage House where we spent two nights with dear friends. Our rooms were lovely and the house is beautiful. Effortless walk to historic downtown area for shopping and eating. Dani and Leif’s hospitality will make you feel like you’ve been friends for life. Breakfast is a special treat with Dani’s cooking and presentation. And Leif’s folded napkins add the perfect touch to the table. Opelika is a charming community and Heritage House is part of that charm. Thanks Dani and Leif!
Dani and Leif are absolutely amazing Human beings! They go above and beyond to treat each and every guest like the most important person in the world! Each room is spectacularly decorated with such finesse that it truly feels like you've been whisked away to another place entirely! The House is close to great places to eat out and bars to visit! You have to book a stay here! you will NOT regret it at all!!!!
The Heritage House is beautiful walk back in history, locate on an amazing historical district. The Hosts of the Heritage House were wonderful & helpful. They guide us to several amazing restaurants. Wonder experience, we will be back!
