First family weekend getaway due to Covid-19.... wanted to take kids somewhere, they been wanting to stay in a hotel with a pool. Good hospitalitynSad that pool was closed, was one of the things I asked before booking the room and was told pool was open but ended up being closed. Kids were a little upset.nOther then that everything was nice.nRooms were really clean and comfortablenNearby beaches and attractions.nNice two days away from home.
Room was decent, zero free breakfast options, slightly frustrated because that's why we booked this hotel, breakfast.
They offer breakfast for $20 a day, then when you try to get it the let you know the restaurant is closed (if its because of the pandemic, thats understandable but why keep charging people for a service that you are not providing?) They finally gave me a cup of instant oatmeal, at $20.00 this must be the most expensive oatmeal that i ever ate.
This is the loudest hotel I have ever had the misfortune of spending the night. The traffic from the main road is incessant. With trucks racing to beat a stop light at the end of the street well into 3 am in the morning. The walls are so thin, I enjoyed a serenade of spasmic coughing fits from my next door neighbors over the symphony of horns, and the percussion over overweighted trucks. I have lived in a major city for 7 years and never have I experienced such bad noise pollution. It is simple put the worst night of sleep I had in months. In the morning my fit bit asked me if I wanted to see a counselor ro talk about it.
