Rooms were charming and thoroughly cleaned so we had no worries about COVID or any other germs. The view was peaceful and beautiful as we relaxed on the deck next to our boathouse. And the hosts were wonderful and friendly! It's near enough to walk the Harbor Walk to the North End for exploring, shopping, and eating.

We had a great stay at the Green Turtle II. From the very beginning, Karen & Jon were so helpful, patient, warm & accomodating with our arrangements. As noted in other reviews, upon arrival we were greeted at the pier gate by Jon, who directed us where to park and ferried our luggage to the boat.nnFrom there on out, we just kept noticing and appreciating all kinds of details that really made our stay enjoyable!nnFirst - the boat - more spacious than we expected, with 2 Queen beds AND 2 bathrooms. It is decked out in teak wood throughout, and had plenty of outlets for our various phones and wifi. The kitchen was stocked with Peets coffee AND both milk and Half& half in the fridge - key! Jon & Karen also stocked the kitchen with some snacks, yogurts and juices which we thoroughly enjoyed. And when i saw the dedicated ice maker, i knew we would have everything we needed! With the good weather, there are also plenty of 'spaces' on the boat - we hung out on the back top deck, the front deck, the captains seat, (and i dont know the right terms) the coffee/sunrise deck - we could be as together or apart as we felt like, all on that yacht!nnThe hosts - After a brief tour/how-to of the boat, Jon let us get settled: both he & Karen were so helpful but kept a great balance of being available without being intrusive. Jon & Karen seem to be pros with the thoughtful details included on the boat. On top of that, they did everything they could to ensure we had a great stay.nnThe breakfast - COVID has required a continental breakfast, but the muffins & bagels, were prepared carefully (bagels toasted and foil wrapped).nnThe location - Charlestown Marina, gated to both cars, and again gated to walk to the boats so we felt very comfortable and safe. The harborwalk was also really enjoyable - we ventured off the path to go to Bunker Hill monument & Brewer's Fork (great pizza!) but there were a few restaurants right off the harbor path as well. The USS Constitution was also a quick walk, and we enjoyed the cannon at sunset (suggestion from Karen).nnFinally, even within the marina - there was plenty of room to walk around, and the views from the boat and around the marina were beautiful - especially at night with the city skyline.nnOverall, this was a great, unique, fun place to stay. A blast and we would do it again! Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were cozy. Breakfast was excellent and brought to you at a time you designate with Karen and Jon. They were very helpful in getting us situated in Boston and had great tips. I will say though that you are staying on a boat so you will feel occasional rocking from the water. I didn't mind it but I know this may not be for every one.

We had a very late arrival but John was there to meet us and get us settled like it was normal hours. Breakfast was fantastic and the chefs were very attentive to special dietary needs. The food was fresh and delicious. We stayed on one of the yachts and it was very clean and well appointed. It had a nice galley with a good sized fridge and plenty of dishes. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was as well. The weather was pleasant but when it got warm, there was A/C to keep things cool. I loved sitting in the aft deck sofa listening to NPR and relaxing. The marina was peaceful and quiet at night. I loved gently rocking as the big boats passed. It wasn't choppy and I did not get sea sick as I am prone to do. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to going back. I highly recommend the Green Turtle.

Such a great experience! The Marina was so quiet and relaxing. The views of the harbor was stunning. I cannot wait for my next trip back to Boston to stay here.nnJon and Karen were amazing! They served a home cooked breakfast to our door and it was absolutely delicious. They were so hospitable and helpful. They made sure we knew where shuttles, ferries, and other modes of transportation were (they were all within walking distance) and it was perfect!
