The New Comfort Suites in Summerville is still under construction, but the project is progressing with less than 6 months to go.
Fairly nice place.
Its nice, the rooms are kept clean and the employees stay out of your way. I'm not sure if they stay out of your way to be nice though, one visit to the front desk will leave you as confused as I am. Rude wouldn't begin to describe some of the people working here. Not everyone is rude though, you'll meet some nice people. Breakfast is the same everyday but its constantly restocked and its decently made.
Room was dirty, guy at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. The pool is broken. Hotel is set to be demolished later this year, it is clear why. The doors barely close and the deadbolt wouldn't lock. We left early.
Our room was extremely dirty! Stains on the comforter and stains on the ottoman. The toilet had a questionable substance on the seat that I had to scrub off. The top of the shower was covered in dirt and dust and the floor in the bathroom was filthy. We complained to the front desk and the lady working tried to be accommodating. She offered us another room which is all they had left. Instead of a king room we ended up with a double queen SMOKING room. It was still dirty but better than the first. We had to go buy our own Lysol just to feel ok about sleeping in the bed. Save yourself some trouble and book at comfort suites just two hotels down. Ten dollars more and completely worth it.
