Very clean rooms and lots og channels to watch. No bugs no mold definitely will be staying again. It's quite and three is a Lake to sit in front of for relaxation or if you smoke. No smoking in the rooms it will be a $250 charge
My wife had been taking up residence here while searching for s home in the area. It's quiet and convenient to doing sand restaurants and an easy cookie into Charleston and Mount Pleasant
The first room I was given (despite being advertised as smoke free) smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. However, the person at the front desk was friendly and switched the room with no fuss. No complaints at all about the service. Also, the room appeared very clean. No frills, but what you'd expect for the price. It's a great location for seeing Charleston and Mount Pleasant. However, I was woken up repeatedly during the night. First, by someone trying to get into the room at 1 am (he gave up when he realized it was occupied), then 2-3 times later in the night by loud fights coming from various other rooms/the parking lot. Nearly called the cops at least once as it sounded like the altercations were going to get violent. Service was good, but wouldn't stay here again.
The check-in process was efficient although the staff member was unable to provide any information on local places to eat out. The room was a disappointment as it did not feel, look or smell clean. The bathroom/shower area had hairs etc left over from a previous occupant and the shower curtain rail was ready to fall off and was literally hanging by a thread. The room itself had a very strong odor which gave the impression that it had not been properly cleaned.
