Good road trip stop over. You have to get off the main highway and into the town but access is easy enough. Exceptionally clean for this type of motel! The building is really old, but obviously is being maintained. The TV and A/C unit in my room looked to be brand new. Fridge and microwave weren't brand new, but were clean and working properly. Linens and towels were perfectly clean. Good shower. Mattress looked pretty new, but was really firm. Check-in pretty good: had to ring the bell a couple of times before the clerk showed up, but she was friendly once she did.

Very clean room 104, looked newly painted, newer carpet & bedding. Smelled clean. Great room for freeway stopover!

Horrible service. We had 3 rooms reserved for a 3am check in. Paying for the night prior because we work overnights so we needed a place to sleep after getting off work. We show up here at 3:30 am to find out they sold our rooms to other people and no vacancy. They had zero cares given about it either. Told us our reservation was for the following day. After we showed her the confirmation she told us she changed it from that day to the next. Leaving us with a 75min drive back south to our prior hotel after having worked 12hr. Later that same day at 3pm we drove back to that hotel to use our reservation to find out that they canceled it all together after we left that morning. No one asked them to do that we were planning to come back. Like they wanted us to sleep in their parking lot awaiting our rooms that we should have already had to be back available. Unbelievable one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in ages. In future I will bypass this town all together.

We stopped on our way home from Pikes Peak and then hiking Black Mesa.nWe got 2 rooms our king looked recently renovated. Fresh paint, new furniture, new tub and surround. Pristine white linens and towels. Even the outside including parking lot were spotless! Great price. Excellent wifi and lots of hot eater for our weary bodies.nExcellent value for the price. Would definitely stay again!
